“All lasting business is built on friendship.”
Albert A Montapert, Author
Hello, we are Elane and Sarah, Co-Founders of I AM in print. We’ve known each other since our first day of secondary school – when Sarah was forced to sit next to Elane and hasn’t been able to get rid of her since.
Keen life explorers we’ve shared numerous adventures, including backpacking around Australia, driving from Las Vegas to San Francisco and getting lost in Hong Kong. Despite often living in different continents we have always managed to meet halfway and have run up many a phone bill.
In 2014 we set ourselves the challenge to co-write a book and have spent many hours developing plots and characters. On our route to discover how to get published we came across the idea for I AM in print; a community to unite all writers, published and unpublished, and enhance the lines of communication with agents and publishers.
We’d love you to join our global writing circle . . . let’s explore the crazy world of writing, together.
I AM learning
Chances are, like us, you are interested in improving your writing skills, discovering how to get published or want to meet like-minded people to bounce ideas off of. We hope to help with all of these things in a fun and interesting way. By booking onto our live Q & A sessions you can ‘virtually meet’ and ask questions of many authors and publishing professionals from the comfort of your own home. Or perhaps you would prefer to attend one of our physical events to meet them in person? Whatever your preference we have it covered.
I AM giving
As we travel on our life journey we like to pay it forwards. We also like to give something back. We are proud advocates of the Great Schools Libraries Campaign and will be working closely with the School Library Association to see how we can further offer support and book donations. Join us in signing the campaign which is working to ensure all UK school children can access a great library.
I AM blogging
We’d love to help you see your writing in print and share your literary experiences so we are open to your guest blogs.
"Writing means sharing. It's part of the human condition to want to share things - thoughts, ideas, opinions."Paulo Coelho
