PHILIP ARDAGH: BUNNIES ON THE BUS

Award-winning (funny) author PHILIP ARDAGH will not only be reading from his bunny-bursting BUNNIES ON THE BUS picture book, but also hopes – and hops – to follow illustrator, Ben Mantle for some great rabbit-rendering (bunny-drawing) tips in a special draw-along session. Not only that, PHILIP will be showing you how to make some funny bunnies from loo rolls, playing some oh-so-cute- bunny clips, and will – hopefully – STILL have time to read from YOU CAN’T COUNT ON DINOSAURS illustrated by Elissa Elwick. All in just under an hour. Be sure not to miss the bus!

THOMAS TAYLOR: GARGANTIS

Thomas Taylor is an award-winning author-illustrator for children. He illustrated the cover for the very first Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone and has since gone on to write and illustrate several picture books and young novels. Gargantis is the electric sequel to Malamander, the eerie seaside adventure that has taken the world by storm; bought in a frenzied eight publisher auction and sold in 16 languages to date. Full of quirky characters, mysterious legends, and peculiar happenings, this is a series that will have you hooked from the moment you arrive in Eerie-On-Sea.

FRANCES STICKLEY

Join Nottinghamshire based author Frances Stickley as she reads her stories, including What Will you dream of tonight? And The Mouse’s Apples. She will also share activities that families can do at home too and introduce you to the characters from her story bag.
